Conflicts between parents and children of the Hitler Youth

The Conflicts between parents and children of the Hitler Youth

In World War 2, Germany, there were conflicts between children of the Hitler Youth, and their parents. Sometimes, they would disagree on certain things only because that their parents weren't trained as the children were at their age. The children were taught to praise Hitler, and to think of him as a role model, and the parents weren't. This was difficult for the parents because they didn't have much control over the children, and they couldn't be role models for them. The children wouldn't look up to their parents as much as Hitler, and parents wouldn't be teaching their kids themselves, the Hitler Youth would.
